LEAGUE INFORMATION
Handgun – Pistols and revolvers in a “Bullseye” format. All 6 people on a team shoot the 30 round course of fire each week of the 10 week season. Playoffs are held to determine the overall winner. Medals given to champions and second place.
Tactical/Practical – IDPA/IPSC-style individual competition shot on Friday nights with a varying timed course of fire of 30-50 rounds and photographic and moving targets. The course of fire is set up to help competitors practice skills that could be useful for encounters that could occur in real life, so low light, shooting on the move, disadvantaged shooting positions, room clearing and working corners and doorways is typical. 12 week season with awards to top 3 finishers.
Reentry – Individual “Bullseye” competition for 22 caliber handguns. 12 week season with awards to top 3 finishers.
Youth Rifle – Individual 22 caliber rifle competition for children in 2 divisions, ages 8-12 and ages 13-17. 8 week season with awards banquet at season’s end with trophies and medals for all competitors.
Parent/Child Rifle – Team competition with a parent and child shooting the 22 caliber rifle course of fire shot by competitors in the Youth Rifle League. 8 week season with awards banquet at season’s end with trophies and medals for all competitors.
