Royce Bartlett – Radio personality – host of Shooting Straight on iHeart Radio, firearms authority, gun writer, tactical instructor and public speaker/lecturer on the 2nd Amendment and gun rights. Royce is an NRA and USCCA certified instructor who specializes in defensive pistol instruction. He has studied multiple martial arts including Tae Kwon Do, Chi Do Kwon, Shorin Ryu, and Jiu Jitsu.
John Falldorf – Long-time law enforcement firearms trainer, competitive law enforcement shooter, civilian and LE range manager, gun shop manager with extensive firearms knowledge, 27 years as a law enforcement patrol deputy, forensic technician, detective, and more. USCCA/NRA certified.
Tara Dixon Engel – Author of “The Handgun Guide for Women,” national gun writer for various magazines, NRA certified in pistol, rifle, shotgun, Refuse to be a victim, range safety officer & USCCA certified for concealed carry, home defense & active shooter defense, former competitive shooter, gun counter sales, public speaker and VP of Training & Strategic Development for The National Association of Chiefs of Police.
Gretchen Laiuppa – Gretchen is assistant range master at The Shooting
Center at the American Police Hall of Fame. She oversees the Ladies Only
training on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Gretchen has eight
years of shooting experience and is certified as an NRA Range Safety Officer
and in NRA Basic Pistol and Rifle, and Protection in the Home. She is also a
USCCA certified instructor and a facilitator for A Girl & A Gun, as well as a
3-gun competitor. She is passionate about helping women gain confidence
and skill in the shooting area.
Michael J. Lazarus – A 25-year veteran of the Trinidad and Tobago Police
Service, Michael Lazarus has accumulated a wealth of experience and
knowledge as a Patrol Officer, Shift Operator, Field Training Officer,
Investigator and Public Speaker. He graduated as a Drill, Firearms, Defense
Tactics, Crowd Control and Riot Suppression Instructor. In the United States, he graduated from esteemed institutions such as the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC); the Law Enforcement Officers Training School / Federal Bureau of Investigations (LEOTS/FBI); the United States Government Joint Training Center (USGJTC), the National Rifle Association (NRA), the International Security Assistance Forces (ISAF/C-IED), and the International Criminal Investigative Training Assessment Program as a Master Instructor (ICTAP/DOJ) in Wardak, Afghanistan to name a few. He is the founder of Combative Systems International, Inc (CSI) Florida, with programs available in Law Enforcement, Military, Executive Protection, Private Security, Airline Crew, and civilian defensive studies.
Paul Pawela – Paul has over 30 years of military and Law Enforcement. He is a certified NRA Police firearms instructor and a member of the International Close Combat Association. He is a nationally known expert in hand-to-hand
combat, a prolific magazine writer, has been trained by experts in defensive firearms and martial arts and is Director of Law Enforcement Training for the National Association of Chiefs of Police. He has been inducted into four national martial arts halls of fame.
Kenny Rivera – Kenny is bilingual and has over 27 years military and public service. His qualifications include PADI Master Diver, Certified EMT, NRA Range Safety Officer and Certified Pistol Instructor. Kenny is also certified by the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) as a Concealed Carry and Home Defense instructor and Countering the Mass Shooter Threat instructor. Kenny travels nationally conducting security and privacy reviews of our nation's health institutions. Kenny conducts many of his classes in Spanish.
Brian Smith – A law enforcement Captain with 30 years of service, including as Rangemaster, Director of Training, and Commander of Special Operations. Brian is Vice President of the National Association of Chiefs of Police . He founded the Metropolitan Police Self-Defense Institute in order to teach defensive tactics to police agencies. He has been named Law Enforcement Instructor of the year by the NRA, among many other honors. He offers national training, primarily in the Metro Chicago area through the Metropolitan Police Self-Defense Institute.
Gary Weeks – Gary is an NRA certified pistol instructor and Assistant Range Master at The Shooting Center. He coordinates the “Tactical/Practical” match each Friday and participates in competition shooting in 3-Gun, Action Steel and any competition allowing Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC).
